I lead design teams to imagine engaging experiences at product and enterprise tech companies. I'm currently a Global UX Director at Ford Pro, the new commercial division of Ford Motor Company, where I oversee the design system, website storefront, and user research teams. In my career, I've managed multidisciplinary teams of contributors in UX design, UX research, content strategy, visual design, and product. I've overseen managers, individual contributors, contractors, and agencies.
I have a long history of UX mentoring in my community, having been a direct beneficiary of amazing mentors and sponsors myself. I'm an active mentor of Hexagon UX and of underrepresented UX professionals.
I've honed my skills in using data-backed insights to influence design decisions that positively impact business goals and objectives. With my background in product design, user research, KPI data development, I'm skilled at driving teams to deliver quality experiences, mapped to business impacts.
I've created roadmaps from ground zero, digging into new domain areas to connect business objectives with strategic design execution. When delivering new experiences, I direct teams to lead with uncharted approaches that yield impactful improvements to user journeys.
An inclusive UX design community is an important value of mine, and I believe in improving representation in the UX talent pipeline. I ran the Hexagon UX Seattle chapter for 3 years, creating events for women and non-binary UX professionals. I also created a career mentoring program for underrepresented UX professionals, reaching 15 individuals (and counting!).
